Privacy Policy

InsuredbyWisler ("we", "us") is an independent licensed insurance brokerage. We take your privacy seriously and design this site to comply with the major global privacy laws that apply to our visitors, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018, the Swiss nFADP, Brazil's LGPD, Canada's PIPEDA, South Africa's POPIA, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by CPRA, and similar US state laws in Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Florida (FDBR), and others.

1. Who is the controller

InsuredbyWisler is the data controller of the personal data described below. For data-protection inquiries, email Wisler@insuredbywisler.com or call (888) 379-0074. EU/UK visitors: where required we will appoint a representative on request.

2. What we collect

  • Information you give us on quote and contact forms: name, email, phone, state, age, the products you're interested in, and anything you write in the message box.
  • Site usage (only with your consent): page views, button clicks, referrer, browser/device user-agent, and a per-session ID. We do not place advertising cookies unless you accept the "Marketing" category.
  • Consent records: your privacy choice, the policy version, timestamp, and jurisdiction hint. We keep this so we can prove that we honored your choice.

3. Why we use it (legal bases)

  • To respond to your quote/contact request — performance of a contract / pre-contract steps (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To send the information to a licensed advisor and our CRM — same basis as above and our legitimate interest in operating the brokerage (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics & marketing measurement — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a); ePrivacy Art. 5(3)).
  • Legal compliance — insurance, anti-fraud, and tax record-keeping (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Who we share it with

We share only what's necessary with: (a) the insurance carriers you ask us to quote, (b) our CRM provider (AgencyBloc) under a data-processing agreement, (c) our backend infrastructure (Lovable Cloud / Supabase), and (d) regulators or law enforcement where legally required. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CPRA.

5. International transfers

Our infrastructure may process data in the United States. For transfers out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum where applicable), together with supplementary technical measures including encryption in transit and at rest.

6. How long we keep it

Quote requests: up to 7 years (US insurance record-retention norms) or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is shorter where law permits. Consent records: 5 years. Analytics events: 25 months and then aggregated.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information; to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. your EU/UK DPA, the Brazilian ANPD, South African Information Regulator, California Privacy Protection Agency, or your state attorney general). California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other US state residents may also opt out of "sale", "sharing", and targeted advertising and limit use of sensitive personal information — see our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We honor browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out.

8. Children

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
